BNP Paribas' Digital Coaching Transformation with CoachHub

The Challenge

BNP Paribas S.A. is a French international banking group and the second largest bank in the European Union. It was formed through the merger of Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) and Paribas in 2000, although its corporate identity descends from its foundation in 1848 as a French national bank.

BNP Paribas believes in openness, freedom, growth and the ability to change and adapt. The company also recognizes the importance of investing in their people.

Because BNP Paribas has a wide and varied employee base, they wanted to find an engaging learning and development experience that would be flexible and customized to meet an individual’s needs.

The goal with digital coaching was to offer employees the opportunity to make their own development plan and have sustained support with one person. They also recognized that engaging with coaches virtually also encouraged people to become more comfortable with digital platforms.

The result

BNP Paribas developed a global initiative called “Leaders for Tomorrow” that offered digital coaching to their leadership talent pipeline. CoachHub supported them in harnessing and unleashing the potential of next generation leaders with a program tailored to all levels and career stages―from sales to managers as well as heads of departments and executives.

To meet the needs of their international employee base, CoachHub delivered their multinational team of coaches who offered sessions in many different languages―as well as a breadth of experience to accommodate a diverse workforce.

The collaboration with CoachHub supports BNP Paribas’ leaders of tomorrow with digital coaching. CoachHub coaching was tailor-made for each individual’s personal development plan, and offered them the opportunity to stretch, as well as build new competencies and behavioral skills.
