Like any start-up, Movinga gives dedicated employees an opportunity to advance into management positions. Since the organization structure is very lean, there is no internal capacity to offer mentoring or coaching for new managers. Even existing senior and mid managers are facing new challenges on a daily basis. As an example, Movinga has opened up new markets and integrated part of Move24’s business while the number of employees remained virtually unchanged. There were also a number of changes in senior management. Experienced managers also appreciate coaching as an incentive, opportunity for further education and as a sounding board outside the organisation. With 23 nationalities and 4 major languages in a fast-moving business environment, a traditional approach cannot meet the demands.
